Ailerons first project was the Benson B-8M Gyrocopter, which was generously donated by the EAA. This project presented an excellent learning opportunity to develop hands-on experience in aircraft maintenance through the process of disassembly, refurbishment, and reassembly. While the gyrocopter is not an overly complex aircraft, it served as a foundational learning tool, allowing the team to gain essential skills and knowledge in aviation mechanics.
